Filigree and Shadow (Full Video)

A commission for bespoke Melbourne jewellery story, Filigree and Shadow, this piece is a collaboration between myself and Hattori Art.

Using a mix of live action and animation, the film was composed to honour the passage of time, Melbourne park life and as an homage to love.

It was designed to be projected onto a canvas which is centre piece of the in store widow display.  Paper craft and fine cutting was also implemented to create a physical set for the canvass to sit in.

Actors, green screens, rotoscoping and traditional digital 2D animation technics were employed to create the 4 minute film.

It can be viewed live at 156 St Georges road, Fitzroy, Melbourne.

Dear David (2016)

Blinded by delusional thoughts of returned affection, a young woman grows increasingly unhinged when she does not receive a letter back from her celebrity hero, David Attenborough.

What follows is a dark, comedic journey into a strange and cyclical world of surreal celebrity obsession accompanied by a blurring between reality and fantasy.

This is, sadly, based on a autobiography.
