Hoo boy.

 

I have started the long, exciting and mountainous process of completing another short film for 2017.  The story was chosen from a clutch of 5 fledgeling ideas, of which, two vied for prime position in my mind and heart.  They fought between themselves for some time, jostling and growing until one become the decidedly favourite choice. With my idea selected, I sat down and fleshed it out in treatment form to get an idea of how long the film would be, pacing and action.

 

I wanted to challenge myself this year to focus on both character and story driven pieces with a consistent animation style.  At the core of the piece lies a relatable story which will hopefully inspire feelings of joy and warmth, with just a touch of wickedness.

I am currently moving onto screenplay and character design for the project.  I look forward to updating my Work In Progress page and Blog regularly, so please visit often!
